Tensions are high as the De Búrca family face another harrowing day in court. Donncha is remanded in custody after attempting to jump bail and is led into court in handcuffs. The prosecution make their closing arguments, claiming O'Dowd's murder was premeditated, brutally executed and that Donncha's failed bid to skip the country is a clear indicator of his guilt.
The emotional scenes in the courtroom are especially difficult for Tina. She can hardly bear to watch, knowing she is the cause of the De Búrca family's traumatic ordeal. To make matters worse, cruel Daniel is enjoying taunting her about her love for Róise. Daniel may think he has the upper hand, but has he pushed Tina too far this time? All may not be lost for the De Búrca family! The sudden death of a central character changes everything as the jury deliberate their verdict.
